I went to Tokyo for a month this year. I stayed near Aobadai station, in Yokohama’s Prefecture.
One day I was walking in the city wondering how we could organise an exhibition there (the spaces to rent were too expensive), that’s when I had a more serious thought about all the beautiful flowers decorating the city. Looking at all those great « empty » spaces I decided I could use them as exhibition walls. That’s how this series was born, by making an exhibition on flowers. The pictures sticked on the flowers are cropped from pictures I took of boys playing baseball under the sun of Tokyo.
